Flipgrid
Using Flipgrid in the classroom across domains. You can use it to get to know students at the beginning of the year; they can teach a skill; they can show what they know about different topics. Students can also comment on other students Flipgrids which is great for when I do Vocab Charades and they have to guess what each other are acting out. I've used this tool in my virtual classroom to keep students engaged and also give them a chance to see/hear their classmates outside of a TEAMS meeting.

If I do Classkick I can show the advantage of assessing students on content without wasting paper. It is 100% online assessing and can be totally customized. I can upload all of my assessments to use. There are pre-made assessments as well. I can show participants how to create assessments and how students would virtually raise their hand for help. I can teach them how to interact with the student virtually in Classkick if they are unable to help in person. I've used this in my virtual classroom this year.

Participants will:
• create original works or responsibly repurpose or remix digital resources into new creations.
• communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively by creating or using a variety of digital objects such as visualizations, models or simulations.
• publish or present content that customizes the message and medium for their intended audiences.

Infographics ("information" and "graphics") are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge. These modern-day miracles are intended to present information quickly and clearly. You have probably looked at two or more already today! They are meant to improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance our abilities to see patterns and trends. Join us in this session as we break down the how-to for little learners, big learners, and everyone in between. We will take a deep dive into infographic creation and see how the use of graphic and simple text support learning. We will work with websites (that require a login), and several other pre-made templates (no login required) to engage students in the creation process. See how digital infographics can support students as they demonstrate what they know about the content standards.
