Participants will:
• critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.
• choose the appropriate platforms and tools for meeting the desired objectives of their creation or communication.
Participants will engage in a gamified and game-based learning environment for the duration of the session. This survey course provides participants with definitions surrounding the terms, real-world examples of gamification, strategies to gamify using technology as well as strategies going “old-school” paper and pencil. Participants will explore digital tools that gamify the learning experiences or provide game-based activities for students and learn more about the concepts surrounding badging. This session is jammed packed with ideas and tools to support any content area! Join us on the journey to engage students and create memorable experiences for them.
